One of those days when the mind refuses to get tamed.
One of those days when flexing the muscle doesnt leave any pain
One of those days when random thoughts grows on to take cover
One of those days when memories make up for the welling up sadness
One of those days when the rebellious me chooses to play
One of those days when the heart is falling in love with the pain
One of those days when I secretly steal time out to love my space
One of those days when I wish, "Wish I could"!

बस बैठे बैठे ऑफिस में इन पंक्तियों के साथ हो लिए.
गर्मी में तपती दिल्ली,
भीड़ तो देखो, पसीने से तरबतर  
 फिर भी life का layout बनाने में जुटे है.

The Significant Other

Once you discover that they are significantly better known in the common lives, you tend to notice their behavior. By this I did not mean the TV talk shows & tabloid magazines bestowing a great deal of attention but the ones in proximity who are achievers in their own strength. HULLABALOO

I had one of the most harrowing experiences of a lifetime yesterday. It was all about commotion, chaos, clutter, disorder, uproar & panic. While the city was setting up celebrations for Diwali, the leaders of the nation conspired against. We left office early to shop for Diwali. Streets were thronging with thousands buying & selling knick-knacks for the occasion. The rains too couldn’t dampen their spirits of festivity. Knee deep waters & the city suddenly seemed paralyzed not knowing how to wade through the waters & reach homes. Braving rains was an attitude and never a dampener. It were leaders of various political parties & cadres of thousands who needed to demonstrate their support for the Sri Lankan Tamils & to press for India’s intervention to stop the military offensive against the Tamils. What did I do? I was dealing with emptiness within. Not a nice feeling. But what else could I do? There was no reason I could find for feeling like I did. You ask about the feeling - sadness welling up inside that makes you feel sick like you want to throw up, a little empty, makes your face go really warm and feet really cold. I struggled to sleep too. I still do not know why I was made to feel that  way. I chose to deal with the emptiness therefore. Some days are hard, to even get up and fix a cup of coffee. The mind is not quiet. Only if it were calm to let good thoughts trickle in. Some days you shouldn't reason. Must let things be. Thank God for a good heart that knows no wrong, in its matters !
